Not long after a soldier was killed in Afghanistan, his platoon returned home. In his honor, they stood in formation, as they always did, only this time there was a gap where he normally stood; his 2 year-old daughter taking his place in formation.

Lord, Father GOD, please give this family the strength they need to make it through each day without their leader. May each person that knew this young man stand in the shelter of your wings and feel your perfect peace.
Please be with our men and women in the line of fire, gaurd them with a hedge or angels.
