i was on hamlet today and i have a great question for all. At closing we were give a paper to sign that was never actually explained in detail. The paper that states that our mortgage is a security instrument is gong tobe sold? we were never give an option………or told…..that the mortgae was going to be sold and then become a comodity on the stock market…. Was that because if most of us heard stock we would have not put our 20% down we would have put down the requored 3~5% and the other 17% put in cd’s secured by th fdic? Bought a 20k cheaper home (and there were plenty) paid PI, and we would still have our money. was this a ploy to steal our money. isnt not telling us and explaining the deal a respa, tiila rule as is teeling us the correct intrest rate and closing costs? please i think i am on to something big here???
