Freddie Mac sued by attorney David Stern over $1.3 million

The Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. was sued by Florida attorney David Stern, who claims he is owed $1.3 million for legal services, according to a complaint filed today.

The government-run mortgage company breached its contract with Stern’s law firm by failing to pay, according to the complaint filed in federal court in Miami.

Stern and his firm are under investigation in Florida for allegedly presenting false and misleading documents in foreclosure cases. DJSP Enterprises Inc., the foreclosure- processing business Stern runs, will stop processing home- seizure cases by the end of the month, according to a March 7 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Freddie Mac has the biggest group of idiots working for them, Did Bank of America just fire several people? Fired BOA , hired Freddie Mac. They are an innocent party– yes just like Hitler. I hope that the goverment does not give Freddie or Fannie one more sent. Close their doors.

  2. So he receives the money for breached contracts: He then has to turn around and pay people for the frauds he committed.

I bet he loses far more than he gains. This is as it should be, for such an important person as he.

This is the tip of the iceberg — its time for David to cough up some names. I’m hoping this gets really ugly. Just wondering if Stern has a mortgage on his house—if so that ought to get interesting too. I know I could look it up, but I’m hoping there’s bigger fish coming to fry in the pan! Debi
