Suit seeks to void sheriff sale; says current sheriff not legal
A candidate in next week’s primary election for sheriff filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court last week seeking to void all mortgage-foreclosure sales conducted under acting Sheriff Barbara Deeley.
The suit, which names as its plaintiffs Democratic candidate Jacque Whaumbush and former West Philadelphia homeowner Glenda Sanders, seeks an order from the court declaring that Deeley “is not, and never was, the Sheriff or ‘Acting Sheriff’ ” of Philadelphia and overturning the sheriff sale held April 5.
The suit claims that the sale shouldn’t be recognized because Deeley was never confirmed by the state Senate after she took over the office on an interim basis to fill in for Sheriff John Green, who retired in December.

I think both the parties are fraud and corrupted.Throw them all and choose an appropriate president.
Throw them all out and lets start over again.None of this is getting any of us anywhere at all and when that happens its time to start over again.
I believe that if the law is followed to the letter as it should be , most if not all foreclosures could be overturned from the last 2 – 3 years and maybe even longer based on Robo signers. I think the White House needs to issue a moratorium on foreclosueres before more illegal evictions are conducted. However because of the “Money ” involved it will never happen. We as a people need to file suit after suit in order ti be heard and keep the spotlite on this issue. For the record I live in Philadelphia and there is another candidate running who will not do any foreclosures until these issues are resolved, I am of course voting for her…
American citisens that have been defraud by the Banks,Federal Reserve & the Us Government; should file a classlass action suit under RICO!
And while they are at it, there should be criminal charges filed against every AG in America as well as every prosecutor (federal, state, local) for their complicit roles in the banks’ fraud. No joke!
They are all committing rampant fraud and cancelling each other out with their lies. Allowing people to be scammed out of their homes by entities who cannot prove and are not made to prove standing to foreclose or ownership of the note and mortgage, just because people do not know the truth is a crime and it is treason and terrorism being committed by the very people we trust to protect our rights from such an illegal and unconstitutional tyranny. More deceptive practices prosecutable under RICO..
did you here the new one pam bondi whom know about all our fraud in florida does not want to help florida home owners. we have to find out if her own home was modified and goo slueths??? she must have gotten something from the big banks. come on why would she not want to help th e folks whom voted for her. oh thats right we cant pay her bills. this is a sad day for florida she should be front lines protecting us from the likes of wells fargo, BOA and chase
Both parties are completely corrupt. They all need to be thrown in prison for treason. We have an Oligarchy of megalomaniacs that have hijacked America by corrupting the Government.. To much money in the hands of a few. Time to find a President who will break up that Oligarchy.
