I keep reading that the foreclosures are illegal,that they don’t have the note,crappy loan sold to federalhousing,changed hands at auction with fanniemae;have contacted everyone worth contacting,agent is able to still sell home,homeowoner is locked out. This is California!So if it is illegal why is the Federal Housing/Fannie Mae and Hud allowing this too happen? Why wasn’t home given back to homeowner?Why was homeowner personally contacted(not by phone?) also at the last minute they ask for $ to do a modification?isn’t this the same as saying that an attorney can’t ask for upfront fees to defend you? And what happend to legal aids/civil rights for homeowoners?Owning more than one home/alot of homeowners fell into this situation/planning for retirement;now loss of job, medical, loss of home equity……has turned middle America into poor America, anyone have an answer for this would most appreciate it, so far just lip service, phone calls with phoney offers and if you contact the attorney general, governor office, or whatever, the bank calls just so they can check it off, nothing is done.
