Well well well,

Look what we have here. Looks like Richard Lawson and two others may also lose their jobs…

She has to cover her tracks somehow, I guess this is how you do it in politics…

Oh, the irony…

Bondi plans outside review of forced resignations

Yea, she is planning for an outside review all right, but I bet it isn’t being initiated by her. Sounds like it may be initiated by the Department of Justice. Nice way to spin it…

TALLAHASSEE – Attorney General Pam Bondi said today she will seek an independent outside review of the forced resignations of two attorneys investigating mortgage fraud.

Bondi denied there was any political motive behind her actions.

After Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting, Bondi said the decision to oust assistant attorneys general June Clarkson and Theresa Edwards, who led the foreclosure-fraud investigations under former Attorney General Bill McCollum, was made by three top administrators in her office. Clarkson and Edwards had highly favorable job evaluations but were let go for unspecified “performance” problems.

She then goes on to say…

“I have 1,100 employees. I have trusted management in my office and the one common denominator with the people that I have hired, they’re tough former prosecutors,” Bondi said. “The only directive I’ve ever given to any employees of my office is to go after the bad guys with everything you’ve got.”
