Attorneys’ ouster from AG’s office called political
Clarkson and Edwards had no sense their jobs were in jeopardy — until late February when one of Bondi’s chief deputies, economic crimes division chief Richard Lawson, showed up.
“He said, ‘All I hear about in Tallahassee is about you and Theresa. I don’t want to hear anything more about you and Theresa,’ ” Clarkson recalled being told.
According to Clarkson, Lawson said he had received complaints from opposing counsel about the two being “aggressive and unprofessional,” particularly from lawyers for LPS, the process server. For three days, they said he grilled them about their cases with their office doors wide open.
“We were being chastised,” Clarkson said. “It was belittling and degrading. We were absolutely stunned. Everyone in the office heard.”
They began to feel micromanaged but were still shocked when they were called into Julian’s office and told they were being fired. Shocked, they regained their composure enough to ask if they could resign and were told they could.
They said Julian told them he was ordered to fire them, and “it was the hardest thing he had ever done in his life.”
“He said it was coming from the top, and there was nothing he could do about it,” Clarkson said, adding Julian gave no reason for the firings.
That Sunday, when Clarkson and Edwards showed up to collect their belongings, the entire staff showed up to help in a show of solidarity.
While some are calling for Clarkson and Edwards to be reinstated, they say they’re not interested.
They have started their own law firm, Edwards & Clarkson, in Hollywood and plan to represent homeowners in foreclosure defense. They say they’ve received calls from potential clients around the state.
“We’re just trying to get our business off the ground and put this behind us,” Clarkson said.

Is there such a thing as housing market going bankrupt?
I really am sick of reading or hearing the name Pam Bondi….how she got elected must have been a deal made in some back room ….I don’t care what label she carries… she has got to hit the streets…This is not about being a demorat or repuke…they are the same blood…just have different names to distract and add confusing to the public while they are off doing their sneaky crap. Bondi proved to the people of Florida…soon after she parked herself in the chair of AG….that she was NOT going to work for the people of the State. She has aided and abetted the fraudster banksters all along…working with the racketeers. Certainly is not a leader by all means…gutless to stand for what is right….a follower like a dog…only she sniffs the money. To go against the sworn duties of the Attorney General … Pam Bondi should lose her law license to practice law. With her track record as we know it….her forced removal of the 2 investigator lawyers proves she used the same evil forces on them as she has done to the State of Flrida…namely..we all are guilty until proven innocent….so the same goes for her…she is guilty and has NOT proven she is innocent.
Personally I like them better in Private practice better, I believe they could be more effective on a case by case basis
Having started their own law firm, here’s hoping they become high profile in their
efforts to help people in fraudulent foreclosures. Being on the map might bring about
others in law to follow in their footsteps.
One more thing. Everyone has been quick to couch this conversation politically. Rep. Soto is “Democratic Rep. Soto.” Bondi is “Republican Attorney General Pam Bondi.” “Liberal” groups are organizing a petition.
Listen, this is not about politics, it’s about corruption. It’s not about politics, it’s about bribes.
This is not about Republicans v. Democrats, it is about AMERICANS. And AMERICANS do not have to tolerate CORRUPTION by our elected officials.

You both are so much smarter than your former bimbo boss, I’m sure your business will be a success. Let’s have a toast to watching that bitch’s career go down in flames.

LPS is not a “process server,” they might be thinking about ProVest. LPS is the notorious fraudulent document mill out of Jacksonville.
Maybe Bondi can hire a couple reporters to inspect the termination. How about from the Palm Beach Post or maybe the Wall Stree Journal. Or will she pick someone from the “never did anything great” club from within the Republican party. I am sure donkey Scott can give her some ideas. Maybe he can loan her his girl lawyer who seems to keep him out of jail.
