Woman Who Called Ex 65,000 Times in One Year Is Less Annoying Than Bank of America

A story is making its rounds today about a Dutch woman who is fighting stalking charges after calling her ex-boyfriend 65,000 times in one year.

That’s too many times to call anyone, even someone you’re in a passionate love affair with who you suspect might be cheating on you and ignoring your calls.

According to the AP, the woman claimed that the calls were justified because they were in a relationship in which 65 grand a year was not considered excessive. This sounds unlikely.

Gawker broke down the numbers today and found that 65,000 calls per year translates to one call every 8.1 minutes, 24 hours a day for an entire year with no pauses. That’s simply insane.

Now imagine if that insane ex was Bank of America calling to remind you of your debt just one day after your husband died of cancer. I’d imagine that’s also pretty annoying.

Rest here…
