Former assistant AG’s role on ethics complaint committee raises questions

TAMPA — Erin Cullaro, a former assistant attorney general fired after moonlighting for a “foreclosure mill,” continues to serve on a committee that investigates ethics complaints.

Some lawyers and consumer advocates question whether Cullaro belongs on the Florida Bar Association committee.

“The bar’s self-monitoring leaves much to be desired,” said Lisa Epstein of Foreclosure Hamlet, which tracks foreclosure fraud.

Cullaro, who worked for the state attorney general’s office in Tampa, was fired in April after a reprimand by Gov. Rick Scott’s office over variations of her signature on documents.

The attorney general’s office had reprimanded Cullaro in 2010 for notarizing documents on behalf of a foreclosure mill the office was investigating.

The attorney who is trying to fraudclose on my commercial property used to work for the state ags office…an attorney told me that she should recuse herself from the case….there is fraud all over the place….the original lender sold the loan to a servicer after the foreclosures was filed and recorded 4assignments after the foreclosures was filed……they are racketeering to collect the insurance money!!!!!!

    • The entire judicial system in every state is rampant with criminals. I just had a judge in a city case I have against the corrupt mayor of my town, tamper with the audio of the court argument we had a couple of weeks ago. She obviously went over the tape and put a different statement from her on the tapes. I have a witness to the whole thing, but the attorneys and this judge are so corrupt it is our word against four city attorneys and a judge. I ordered the tape immediately because the judge admitted to me that she had not read my case. Now the audio states she read it in detail and even measured the documents with a tape measure. Oh my God! Flipped me and my witness out! Mary is almost through school to become a paralegal and she asked me how I can deal with corruption. I do not give up. I have asked the judge to recuse herself and Mary is putting a declaration together for me. I am already fighting the corrupt city attorneys. And my mortgage. The predator banks are evil and the judicial system enables them to get away with it. The mayor of our town is a crook and is getting away with it due to a crooked judicial system. I hired an attorney from Bellevue that helped the city attorneys and through my case under the bus for them and have absolute proof of it on paper. Another judge stated I proved breach ( in color) by my ex attorney, then dismissed my case. This is just crazy. My only hope is in the Appeals court.
