Event: ‘How Will The CFPB Function Under Richard Cordray?’

Back in May 2011, Elizabeth Warren, previous acting head of the Consumer Financial Protection Board (CFPB), was testifying in front of this same committee she tried to speak about foreclosure fraud and other predatory bank behavior. She was treated very rudely by Congressman Trey Gowdy & Congressman Patrick McHenry (Who voted for these jerks?). It was a complete breakdown in the formality that is usually witnessed in Congressional hearings. The NY Times wrote about it, Usual Decorum Breaks Down at House Hearing.

Here’s a little snip of the hearing video to get the flavor of what’s in store for Cordray tomorrow.

Watch the hearing tomorrow to see how the puppets act this time! They are hopping mad that Obama made Cordray the head of the CFPB in a recess appointment.
