Well, isn’t that interesting! Realtor passes the buck to “the mortgage company,” which gave wrong info. Clouded title or simple mix-up? A little of both? I smell a little MERS in this scenario–and it stinks.

(I am sure that A realtor walked her thru the ‘subject’ property she thought she was buying. Seems like a fairly simple settlement.
Get an attorney, and go after HER Realtor Representation!! AND – THE LISTING AGENT AS WELL.
