Nathan “Patches” Pim | Puppet Show Brings Foreclosure, Poverty to Florida Stage (VIDEO)

Our friend Nathan “Patches” Pim is a Florida-based member of Food Not Bombs who serves meals to the homeless, and to Occupy activists.

But he’s also an artist whose vibrant, aggrieved puppets and their forlorn stories bring the economic issues roiling his state to the stage. Pims’ puppet show in Tampa’s Ybor neighborhood went on Monday night after the day’s protests of the Republican National Convention were dampened by rain.

I like Nathan. He is a little lost as to how to apply his caring and passion, but his hart is in the right place. I hope his genuine intentions to change the world do work. Anyone who can help him make his passion and work more productive please help him. James M
