Lender Processing Services appoints Snow to board
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Lender Processing Services Inc. said Tuesday that it has appointed former Secretary of the Treasury John Snow to its board.
The technology company, based in Jacksonville, Fla., services the mortgage and real estate industries.
Lender said that Snow’s experience managing large regulated public companies and his expertise in the areas of regulation, public policy and risk management will enhance the board and the value it brings shareholders.
Snow was secretary of the Treasury from 2003 to 2006 and served as the head of President George W. Bush’s economic policy team and was the administration’s principal spokesman on economic policy. He has been president of consulting firm JWS Associates LLC since 2006. Prior to his time at the Treasury, Snow was the chairman, president and chief executive officer of railway and transportation company CSX Corp.
