I have just now found this website. I wish that I had it two years back. I went into forclosure proceedings with the now infamous HomeEq. The tacked on ungodly fees after my bankruptcy, that were too astronomical for me to pay back. I let them have the house. The fees are the same fees you just now mentioned, and now I know what I was dealing with. I could never get a "straight" answer from HomeEq, and I did not have benefit of a lawyer. Its sad that the American people have deal with predatory lending companies. Most of the time, they get our money, and eventually our property, for them to sell over and over again. The house I had has been sold multiple times since then, albeit because of these predatory lending practices. I wish I had the foresight to fight this company, even though they have unlimited fees to fight the court system and I did not. Thanks for your information! Maybe someone will be able to bring these people down.
