The order imposing sanctions was issued on July 11, 2008.

Goebels, represented by Fidelity/LPS attorney Mike Cash, testified, and was cross examined, on Thursday August 21, 2009. Her testimony covers 78 pages of the transcript.

The US Trustee worked hard in order to be able to run discovery against Fidelity/LPS, who fought the discovery tooth and nail. My hat is off to the US Trustee, and also to Judge Magner.

I suspect the motion for sanctions will be granted as that court already is inclined to imposing sanctions on the bad players in that case.
