I have emailed Gretchen M. several times, giving her information & offering her more. I gave her my phone number and email - she can call me ANYTIME and hear a horror story. If you have a story to tell, let her know. If you have information that supports your belief that these rocket dockets can be a great disservice to the public, let her know. Don't sit back quietly and let her article go unchallenged!
It's interesting, though, and shows a lack of balls by the NYTimes, that comments weren't accepted on this particular article.
I could have given them an earful!
PS If you have a really, really good story to tell, sue your lender. I've just dragged Chase into court and I won't quit until a jury hears what I have to say. It's called extrinsic fraud, people, and there is no time limit to use extrinsic fraud and seek relief from a judgment.

You are so right. Think about the legions of marketers employed by the banks, who, eschewing their fiduciary duty, pushed exotic and toxic loans on people. Think about the hordes of mortgage brokers who preyed on our natural optimism as Americans: of course in two years we'll be doing better than now, and two years after that we'll be doing EVEN BETTER.
Think of the man power and money that went into selling this poisonous brew. Foreclosure mills churning out boilerplate litigation, "affidavit mills" spitting out phonied up (but good looking!) sworn-to documents by the thousands. Dory Goebel, of Lender Processing Services, Inc., f/k/a Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. bragged in an article her business' "The Summit" newsletter in September of 2006 saying that her "team" (she was manager) put out ONE THOUSAND notarized documents - on average - PER DAY. That's one every 30 seconds or so. The mind boggles. If you want a copy, let me know.
It's a lot easier to blame the little guy than admit some of our most upstanding citizens colluded and did their damnedest to bring us to our knees. We all know that the bank bailout was b.s. - we know we got taken. We just can't admit it, so we blame the little guy.
I had a 17-year relationship with Washington Mutual through three homes when, in 2006, they tried to screw me to the wall. Why should I apologize or feel ashamed because I trusted my banker? Why, exactly, isn't this an abuse of fiduciary trust? It's fraud if I lie to them or misrepresent my financial position, but if they lie to my face it doesn't count???
Meanwhile, Chase has scheduled their 6th foreclosure sale and all that's standing between me and bankruptcy is the slender reed of a Motion for a Temporary Injunction in front of the 12th Circuit.

Hello, everyone! Yes, our country in HUGE TROUBLE. Fla. Judges do not listen us at all! But it says, "Those who do not want to hear the voice of people will hear the wrath of crowd". I was at the Sept. 1, 2010 'Hearing' & was 'blessed' by 9 seconds of my time in the Duval County Courthouse. I am NOT VIOLENT PERSON. but the POLICE SET ON ME TWICE by judges DURING two last 'hearings". This is only HURRICANE IN THE GLASS OF WATER! I DID NOTHING WRONG! Police Officer grabbed my shoulder and tried to drug me... I said, "I will go by myself with pleasure!" Police Officer answered me, "I AM DOING ONLY WHAT I TOLD TO DO!" So, if Judge Soud will tell him to kill, he will??? We are entitled to information about these ILLEGAL FORECLOSURE COURTS. I just asked question, "Do you have an Order establishing the Foreclosure Court (Division FC-D)? Judge said, "I don't want talk about it!" And I was thrown away! Why?! I have 20 questions more... And I supposed to have 15 minutes hearing.... The Supreme Court did not design such Courts at all. It supposed to be Mediation Program for NEW CASES. So, who MUST BE DELETED from COURT OF LAW - people or ILLEGAL JUDGES? If he is PRESIDING JUDGE where is his Office, JA, Room? And why do I have THREE DENIAL ORDERS FROM THREE JUDGES BEFORE HEARING? How many 'PRESIDING JUDGES DO i HAVE? Where is Order of Chief Judge with an ASSIGNMENT of MY CASE to three of them? I don't like surprises and ambushes in the People's Court. And one more thing: it seems, that Atty. Gen. just created view that something going on and CRIMINALS will be prosecuted. In my opinion, this is just ELECTION GAME with people. There is Case No.: AG#: L10-3-1147 in Re: Law Office of Marshall C. Watson. But go to Home Page of AG Office and try to find it and two others Cases. There is nothing! You can find another cases and it says that we can click at any of them and find LINKS to an AFFIDAVIT and INSTRUCTION to it. However, there are NO ANY LINKS EXIST! I think also that after ELECTION of McCollum all 'cases' will be DELETED for good. It just my opinion. Call to BARBARA RODRIGUEZ AT (954) 712-4641 and ask about links and PROGRESS OF INVESTIGATION. Thanks for your attention. Can someone REALLY help us?

Outstanding journalism here by 4Closurefraud.org, pointing out MILK-TOAST journalism of the New York Times. Strike that... I know why. We all do. Shame on you, New York Times, be a BETTER American organization, and tell it like IT IS, which you have a reputation of doing. Serve your readers, NOT your advertisers, because, as you well know, when you don't serve your readers, they quit buying your rag, then your advertisers lose interest fast.
In reply to <a href="https://4closurefraud.org/2010/09/04/ny-times-picks-up-on-the-crisis-in-our-fl-courts-high-speed-courts-try-to-rush-through-foreclosures/#comment-4696">ForeclosureHamlet</a>.

In Thursday's P B Post a front page story announces a new "unprecedented" agreement between
buyers of foreclosed homes using federal money, as in local governments, community groups, and
the nation's largest private lenders . Those very entities that created and than purchased, packaged and
sold with a AAA rating . A/K/A ( safe investment ) , to the world , while insuring their defective products against loss ..
This "unprecedented agreement will give these local governments first choice in purchasing foreclosed properties . The intent is to purchase , refurbish and sell or rent the homes to low to middle income families presumably at the fair market price .
The same families that they are foreclosing on now . The same families that want to stay in their homes , and have the ability and desire to pay for a mortgage if it was adjusted to fair market value .
This is another futile attempt to fix this housing crises with out addressing the fundamental problem .
The upper middle class are now walking , and every American is being harmed by this "unprecedented"
lack of morals and ethics by those who were held in high esteem . I trusted my bank as i trusted my dentist , doctor and mechanic . Those that use illegal practice and break that trust for personal gain need
to be behind bars as any other convicted criminal ..
Keep up the good work .
