While trying to recruit I contacted the local radio stations, told them it was a non profit organization, and asked if they’d give out info on the meetings. They all did. I’m in Ohio, but I think it’s works this way everywhere. Using only this tool and word of mouth, the Van club grew to be the larges van club in the US within 2 years, the Miami Valley Street Vans and it later broke up into 5 separate clubs.

It may be warm down there, but outdoor demonstrations up here don’t do well when you’re freezing in sub zero weather… maybe a good time to start thinking NATIONAL DEMONSTRATION DAY? Come warmer weather…
