I am not sure how useful this information will be to anyone, but yesterday while doing google searches I found out that every bank has a “code of ethics”. I have read some that do not say much except there are some points about doing good for every community and some have a way for employees to report violations via email or phone line if not only to a supervisor or internal affairs department, about laws being broken.

I phoned on of the numbers about midnight last night and actually had someone answer.

I would think that contacting them this way might work to get their attention at the CEO level and perhaps I will be able to give a good report about the email I sent to the CEO: Richard Davis that has written an introduction to the code and ethics of US BANK and how he might do the nice and right things like we see the Undercover Boss on the tv program do when he or she gets in touch with reality.

A former retired top executive having responsibility for deciding who got insurance claims paid and who did not, that has woke up after stopping at a free health clinic in Kentucky where thousands came from several states for medical treatment. He has since testified before Congress as an advocate for correction and how sorry he was for only thinking of people as numbers on his job instead of seeing the real need and hurt and how he could have cared more and helped correct things gone wrong when everyone has a fragmented responsibility and job function having very little concept of what is real in life when sitting in ivory towers far removed from the grassroots. This man was on 60 minutes last year, but I do not remember his name.

In general, about half of AG requires that a selection from a menu and the other half you can get directly to someone live answering or by punching “0” for operator regardless of the menu that gets you no where as needed.

Everyone I spoke with knew what I was asking about.

Some directed me to a press/media or communications office and some even checked me out while we spoke by going to my new web URL, but for the most part, even though a few times the answer was – “not sure as several people here each day answer the phone so only a supervisor would know I got an answer after I left a message for them to call me back.

Illinois called back right away, but did not tell me yet and am waiting for that number.

I am still waiting for a couple of other calls back or email.

Georgia had a recorded message to listen to as I waited, stating that this is the early stages of investigation and no settlement is forthcoming and that there is no federal pressure being asserted on the AG to make any quick or easy settlement.

Many times, such as for the AG of Indiana, the menu is limited and Indiana does not have any place to file a complaint about foreclosure or tenant violations. The website for IAG also does not provide anything appropriate, however they told me that they did get about 20 calls yesterday.

20 calls seems to be a viable number to calculate a total for all fifty states, inasmuch as:

Alabama had zero as told to me by the Consumer Affairs division; and

Connecticut seemed to have the highest @ 50; and

Lori transferred me to a media department at the Florida office and the person there requires an email request for answer to the question (shannon.knowles@myfloridalegal.com); and

Harrold Turner, ext 238 of 502-429-7134 said about six calls and one email came in yesterday and perhaps another 3 more calls today.

I am also waiting to hear back from Joy Yearout with the communications department press office for a total from Michigan (517-373-8060).

Maryland had 10-20.

Mass. is supposed to let me know.

Maine had 19 yesterday and 2 today for 21 total.

Waiting also to hear back from Georgia and Deleware.

I only called states east of the Mississippi and not all of them in the hour I did this, but would not expect the number in any state, except California and Arizona … like Florida and Michigan (that has a “hardest hit” phone number to call to assist people with housing assistance) to have any higher numbers.

I just got back a call from the Georgia AG who stated the number of calls received yesterday and today where about 60. In respect to this man I am not releasing his name and phone number for this reason – he informed me to let everyone know that such a phone campaign is extremely counterproductive. That when the AG receives these kinds of call campaigns they do not get the work done that needs to be done during the two days at the office that accomplished nothing as time was all wasted by the AG speaking with people that are misinformed and believing everything they see on the internet, like – Obama calling AG offices and telling the AG to settle now and do it easy – this is just bunk internet by people that like to do stupid things to the minds of everyone.

What this appears to boil down to is that everyone should send a letter and not phone. The GAG stated this is the best way to be heard. The GAG does not have the manpower and several people answer the phone and so this caller input is just not very precise nor to the point and not on target. The GAG also said that this is the second time such a call campaign on this subject has occurred in the last month or so and nothing at the office got done to investigate things.

So there it is and now we better come up with a better way to encourage and support the AG in each state so that they can best do what they are supposed to be doing to help us and beat the BANKSTERS with the authority and power of the State as combined effort to fix this mortgage mess.

P.S. So 20 calls per state, as a good mean average, multiplied by 50 states, would yield 1,000 calls and a lot of wasted time by everyone calling and being called yesterday.

P.S.S. Does anyone know how many people got this email notice before it was circulated to others that we can not track the number for to know what percentage called from this email notice?
