I must add I also agree with LVLawman on the “emotional comment”….
Yes, we do get emotional and have every right to be emotional but Emotions have no place in
Courts or testimonies. We all have horrific sad stories of our Homes that are just pieces of paper
to others that would stir emotions in the coldest of hearts, but emotions have no influence on Judges-they have heard all the horror stories countless times-and do not listen to emotional testimony.
We must try to control our emotions & language to be taken seriously or be “heard” by all the Judges & so called Legal Experts. Being over emotional causes unclear thinking processes-think rationally-think and behave with more integrity, morals & class than your opponents. That is just what they want a bunch of whining,screaming, cursing, weak, beaten down defendants that lose control so they can be thrown out of court.
