Someone walked with the money leaving him the piker.
It’s kind of like buying a hot car, only you don’t know the car is hot until it’s too late. You’ve borrowed the money, paid the possessor, took possession of the hot car. Only to find you’re a rube. The car is confiscated and returned to the owners, and you’re still still on the ropes having to pay back the money you’ve borrowed.
That’s what title insurance is supposed to cover, a clear title. It’s obvious through the contortion he’s been through with all of the banksters the house he supposedly is buying had a clouded title to start with, and he was
sucked right in with a plan of failure already placed in his file. Sell that house, foreclose, rinse and repeat as many times as possible before the scam goes south.
