these judges who are retiring and getting jobs w/ the f/c mill law firms
makes one wonder whether they have been “on the take” in the first place.

maybe these judges have been getting paid all along (under the table).

now that they are retiring, they can work out in the open for the firms who have been paying them for their rocket docket.

I moved to Florida from Ohio 32 years ago during the recession then, but of course, nothing like it is now. Florida then was a land of promise and future. I have been in the same home for 25 years where I raised my children as a single parent…my roots are here and now over 50% of my lifetime has been spent in this home. I refuse to give up and leave. I have fought and will keep fighting. I work 3 jobs just to sustain myself and like Marilyn says, it takes a lot of money to move. Why should we just give up and leave? Let the banksters and evil lawmakers and politicians win? No siree…not me!!! What we really need is UNITY…coming together in numbers and striking out at the beast! Most of my anger is with the fact that people just do not want to become involved or they live in glass houses. I want action….I want demonstrations…but to get Floridians (or anybody for that fact) to act out is just a crying shame!!! This site is great for information and allowing us to “vent” our anger but we need to move it to the streets!! If anybody out there needs a body to help then email me. I am ready!!!!

Pamela..Most new areas in Florida are like that….I refuse to live in those areas…I love land and I like things my way. They tell you what to plant, no fence….one place I looked at 10 years ago the association said you could not park in the driveway and could plant only certain bushes and trees. OK. so there are 3 cars in the family one is out of luck and no parking on street. My sister cannot plant anything where she lives…the lawn company puts what they want and cuts the grass.(.thru the association.)…so her favorite plants cannot be enjoyed. Some people want it that way..but not my family….and we all have plenty of land..not on top of the next house. Hey, we can’t smoke on the beach but walk a little further down the beach and men are all naked….some in their ‘ acts ‘…in Venice Florida….OMG…don’t get me started. BUT…the sunset is beautiful !!!!!!! LOL..

Florida was not always like this…it mainly started with the foreclosures. I am not saying corruption did not exist before…but nothing as today. And to move…sell our homes??? Mine is paid for…never had a mortgage…but to get property insurance…the hurricanes make it impossible to afford the coverage…or you are rated a flood zone even if there was never a flood in your area….This adds up to way in the thousands for one year. But the frauds involved in the forclosures are one big massive crime..a huge ponzi scheme…along with a corrupt government and the courts all siding with the criminal banksters….follow the money is the answer. But to sell and the cost to move would drain the finances of alot of retired people….it is easy to say move, but to do it is alot harder….financially. Alot of the homes and condos were purchased by people out of state who were preparing to retire to Florida and lost their pensions or jobs…..they have just walked away and left the places go back to the banks. It is sad, no doubt. Florida is a great state to live in…it’s the corrupt government that sucks………..
