I personally have been in a FIGHT with Bank of America since August 2008 after breaking my back (literally) building my HOME that BofA tried to STEAL.
BUT, I recently WON and got my Mortgage MODIFIED after being DENIED 8 different times for LOST DOCUMENTS.
My advice: KEEP FIGHTING NO MATTER WHAT YOU’RE TOLD AND FILE COMPLAINTS WITH THE OCC (office of the Comptroller). This seams to be the only government agency that is ACTUALLY DOING ANYTHING TO PROTECT HOMEOWNERS.
