Now that I have found this post that I have been asking about since getting word of this query today by Marilyn, does anyone have any information on where to find this so I can look into it.

There is the possibility of placing liens on your property for the value of the improvements that you have done which others have done years before that I am aware of which was referred to as a common law lien, but when in court the trial court for whatever reason did not consider these liens as having any affect in the judgment to offset the amount due to the bank, which might be that the defendant was just not competent to provide the evidence and persuade the court of the offset – might be because they put a lien on their property of ten billion dollars for one dollars of improvement or such nonsense.

It would be much better that a couple of people in foreclosure fighting foreclosure do some work on each others property and then for non payment file a lien on the property for value of the work or improvement that can be documented which then as an interested party they would also have to be a party in the foreclosure of that other person/property and team up to help each other fight it out in court in each case. If you could ten others to do this on each property for each other – think of the dynamics if your could get people to work together to fight together to save each others house – I doubt though that you can get even two people even if they are brothers to cooperate and trust each other and do equal work together to achieve anything this way.

All liens have to be enforced and do nothing usually although recorded although I have seen some banks pay off all liens or record that were for a few hundred or a few thousand dollars which causes me to think that for a few buck to record a lien and several people file liens for a few thousand dollars could be really interesting and let just say – profitable.

If I mowed someone’s yard under contract for $1K each time and had a ten year contract then it could be a claim in court against the banksters taking everything as I still have 9 years of contract to perform and should not be deprived of the value of the remainder of the contract which I have filed a lien because I have not been paid so far for six months and am owed $6,000.00. Ornery people could really do a lot with this sort of thinking for each other to protect the estate from the banksters.

You can also sell the house on contract to someone and gum up the works which those other people would be have an interest to be included in the foreclosure and people could sell their houses to each other this way or provide each other quit claims to each others houses and so on….

Quit claim deed do not even have to recorded to have standing in the foreclosure upon presentment of your appearance and claim of interest by quit claim for whatever is quit claimed, such as keeping a life estate naming someone else as another person besides the grantee that would also have an interest and right to appear and defeat the banksters.

All of the above involving others requires selfless concern for each other as good neighbors.
