I am going through the same thing and did not know which way to go. I had a lawyer file the BK for me but he wanted nothing to do with fighting the bank and the house stuff so from that point I have been on my own. I will tell you that it has been very very difficult. My understanding is that in most cases BK only stalls the foreclosure process. I filed a chap. 7, listed the mortgage as contested on the schedules and prior to discharge filed an adversary proceeding. I am not giving advice; only telling you what I have done. If you can, go to an attorney for advice. I don’t have that option as I live in a state where all the lawyers are “pro” banks. My chances of eventually prevailing are none to zil, but I will carry through the process and as I told the judge, I DEMAND to have my due process! Best of Luck and let us know how it goes!

I vent…I thought I read that California is going to give illegals or illegals kids free college…..were they not a state that not long ago was crying they were broke ? Funny…how states can find money out of air…..and our kids have to pay for college……..

Was just flipping through the channels and Geraldo was reporting live from Zucatti Park at the Occupy protests. He said the people might LOOK FUNNY and some are OBNOXIOUS…(he should talk) but, they have a legitimate beef and this is definitely going to be resonating for a long time…..One protestor held up a sign that read, DEMOCRACY, NOT PLUTOCRACY…..!!!! We The People are breaking down that Foreclosuregate!

thank you i already bought the sugar free pancake syrup. i can not believe this happened 10-15 yrs from retirement. so sad for all of us. cant pay bills if there are no jobs?? if i would have stayed in my old house my kids would have been druggies and my daughter pregnant. i did the right thing moving from there but i just get so down thinking my house would have been paid off in 10 yrs. but who knows where my kids would have been. my middle one would have been stealing he is my add/adhd kid he hung out with gypsy kid circa 2004!!

lies is all they tell, I am so sorry to hear about the diabetes from the stress….stress can bring it out…that happened to my Grandfather though his father had it, the stress of losing his mother brought it out…..just keep a close eye on the sugar, that is what is soo important…if the sugar is not controlled, that is when you get complications………..I get conflicting stories on the bk….Some say save it, some say it does not matter, just file….that is precisely the problem, we can’t trust anyone…….this is no way to live…
