I am from the Seattle area. Mrs. Mitchell was on the radio this morning to talk about the modification and the national attention this caused. I believe she said that she did not get the paperwork yet so she had not signed anything. They reduced her mortgage from $2,500+ to $1700. She also stated that she hoped because of what she gets a month that Owcen reduced her payment enough. When I heard that my heart sank. I don’t think she is out of the woods yet.

I just hope she can keep up those payments..With Geithners predicitions of a worsening economy it is scary to think this poor woman could default on this loan mod because of a worsening economy and they covered their asses this time….and will steal her home with ease if that happens…….That is what I fear for her..
