I had inquired about purchasing this house, but dropped it when I realized their was an elderly woman still living there. The attorney representing the town of Stamford was an aging female judge in Norwalk, and made no effort to send in social services, even though she know an elderly woman would be thrown out on the street.

The owner had no debt on the property, and enormous equity. It was obvious to any reasonable person that something did not add up. The town of Stamford and the lawyers, judges, etc that throw out elderly people on the street without lifting a finger to help, or figure out why someone with so much equity would allow themselves to be foreclosed on, should all burn in hell.

At a minimum the law should be changed to mandate a call to social services, or someone to verify the situation in the home. A old woman with alheimers didn’t respond so the town of Stamford let her die.

Something is not right there!!! Why did not the attorney explained to them that they had an opportunity to get back some cash after the sale as they all know is possible if the equity is huge…what was the balance of the loan they owed? And why were they not told this possibility? Many homeowners do no know this also. Much equity is stolen every year by both the courts and attorneys and those that know…God is watching.

That daughter was too young to die like that esp after taking care of her mother…wow!!!

If they did not die would anyone have told them? With no water and utility they probably despaired…what a crime against society and the utility companies…

This story is just crushing. No soul should ever feel that their lives are not greater than the bad debt or even valid debt – its nothing compared to a human life. Bless their souls.

With tears streaming I keep asking myself ‘when will this end?’…. The desperation to take one’s life is so overwhelming for me. As I read the story I just think this poor daughter was at wit’s end and the thought of losing the home and in her mind with no where to go and a sick mother to care for must have been truly horrible for her. Rest in peace as now you are both wrapped in God’s arms!
