Complain, complain, complain in writing and don’t stop until we (collectviely we the people) get results. Complain to the Consumer Financial Protection Agency, complain to your local State Atty General’s office, require WRITTEN CORRESPONDENCE with your mortgaging servicing agent. Do not negotiate over the phone. Document every phone call, every door hanger, every abuse.
If you do talk to them over the phone, have a mediator, or govenment agency listening to the phone call. Record any phone conversations, but be sure you let them know you are recording the call.
