Sorry George I meant no disrespect. I get agitated when I read about the fiat money system. I guess I took it out on you and for that I apologize.

I've read a few of your articles and by and large they are good. The point I wanted to get across was that it seems people are just now FINALLY realizing that we are using monopoly money.

People like me where being called nutso conspiracy theorists when we said people that borrowed $, funded their own loan .

BTW ,you can google my nick if you want to see my "work". Sadly my best stuffed is on forums that no longer exist and where never index by google.

Stupendous Man: Thank you for that link. I read the article in its entirety and found it all completely aligned with my understanding.

However, it is not nearly as explicative of the problem and the solution as is<strong> "The Creature From Jekyll Island."</strong> (One could not expect a few page article to compete with a 600-page book.) The book gives the reader a <strong>complete and deep understanding </strong>of how and why we got to our situation today and how we can take our Country back from the banking cabal that is draining our nation's finincial blood - into their own pockets.

After reading The Creature, the reader has a firm idea of the issue and the danger of continuing to allow Congress to steal from the American People through issuance of fiat money, which is a way to get money for the Government without direct taxation, and is constantly inflating our money supply and reducing the value of the dollar. Inflation is a hidden tax. Today's dollar is worth only 4 cents, compared with its value in 1913 - wholly because of the inflation mechanism.

Thank you for your interest in exposing this fraud against the American People. I hope we can continue to educate everyone until there is enough knowledge and indignancy to act to put our banking system right. Then we can all prosper as never before.

When you get a chance, go ahead and read the article.

You'll find that I do a rather comprehensive setup for my voyage of discovery to this point.

You'll note that I have written scores of articles dating back to 2007 on various aspects of our situation.

While I consider my posts to be well researched and remarkably accurate over time, I am always interested in the work of those such as yourself who have known about this far longer.

What name should I google to locate your work?

A quicker, more accessible read can be found here:

http://www.constitution.org/mon/vieira_03225.htm

This is not nearly as detailed, or thorough, as Griffin's book but it raises very interesting points in a very straightforward way. And it only takes 15 minutes to read.

WTF Mantor you just wake up from a coma?

I'll add something for you. No one ever borrowed anything of value when they took a "home loan". The seller was paid with new money freshly created with an asset. That asset? The house he just sold.
Check out Public Law 106-122
The FED and it's members have been using residential mortgages as collateral for new Federal Reserve note issuance.
It's like this. Give note to bank, bank gives note to fed, fed gives note to US treasurer,
Now the FED can print new bills, which it gives to the bank , which goes to the seller.

What did the bank give up? Was it's capital ever at risk?
A nice circle jerk ain't it?

Why not give the mortgage note right to the seller?

It's been suggested that if JP Morgan were to fail, it would cause the USA to fail! If JP Morgan's role in our Ponzi economy is much more massive than we know, would the mainstream media even mention it? Fox News, in particular, hasn't reported extensively on widespread fraud by Banks during these past 4 years, if much at all.
JPM derivatives are propping up US Debt, JP Morgan is too big to fail.

This article explains why there has been no inflation, although borrowing costs are next to nothing for the banks. We had inflation during the run up of the real estate bubble, but it never counted. People saw their "net worth" increase for no reason, other than their home was all of a sudden worth twice what it was worth only a couple of years earlier. We took that money out by refinancing, and now realize that the money we got was "funny money". The increase in value in the housing stock did not include a similar increase in the money supply - it was merely a book entry on someone's balance sheet. Therefore, when the prices collapsed, we injected money, by putting in new balance sheet entries, without actually printing it, keeping the illusion going. We need to put a stop to derivatives and to the outlandish practices of modern banking. Bring back Glass-Steagall now!

Thank you George!

For complete understanding of what's going on and what to do about it, read the book <strong> "The Creature From Jekyll Island,"</strong> by G. Edward Griffin. First published in 1994, it is in its 5th edition and 30th printing. It is a tour-de-force in the history of money, banking and the Federal Reserve, which is not federal and has no reserves. It creates fiat money out of thin air and then LOANS it to the U.S.

The book explains why there are (unncessary) economic booms and busts, why thereare so many (unnecessary)wars, why we (the U.S. government) are in so much (unnecessary) debt, why it is (unnecessarily) impoverishing us all - and who is profiting. It is a gripping revelation that is hard to put down. The reader emerges with an understanding of why Jefferson and Jackson fought so hard and railed against the type of banking system that we have right now in America - and <strong> what we can all do to regain our freedom </strong>from the banking cabal.

Suffice to say that everything we thought we knew about history, politics and money - is wrong.

If we don't defeat this monster, there will be no good future for us, our kids or our grandkids. Read it for them.
