In fact, it happened to my own father who retired in 1972. After he turned 62, his company (47 years!) did everything but hire a hit man to take him out, so determined were they to get him to quit because they couldn’t fire him with his outstanding record. And of course, before vested rights, if you quit or were fired, FOR ANY REASON, right up to your last work day, you lost your entire pension.

I often wondered what kind of conscious these people had, slapping themselves on the back because they “got rid of another one.”

And then when it came THEIR turn to get shafted, could not figure out why.

Of course, then the SOB’s sued and it made the papers. Texico’s major finger slapping in court some years ago comes to mind.

Children are innocent creatures and this one was so horribly abused by WF. I don’t understand how people could actually have a clear conscience who would have participated in this abuse. How horrid for these parents to know that treatment or surgery would have spared her death and that it comes from the hands of those at WF. If I were such a parent you would have to hold me back from taking “arms” against them. This is definitely 60-minute material to be broadcast all across the United States! Even the fire of Hell is too good for those responsible!
