Just like Obama’s total (willfull) failure to assist homeowners, simple solutions and smarter ideas are being crushed by an aggressive effort from the FIRE sector and a large part of the media. It is stunning, after all the destruction from the recession that Banksters largely created, they want to drive the US right back to the edge of a cliff. Erksine Bowles is exhibit A, and millions of Americans are being fed some insane stupidity about honor and marital fidelity. Incidentally, this is how Clinton was able to sign away parts of the New Deal and initiate further destruction of the middle class. It takes a Democrat to get ‘er done.
