The subprime bandits “sold” their crap to the safety and security of their friends towards the end – this is generally understood. Propublica is pro-propaganda, not daring to cross the taboo in directly criticizing the likes of Mozillo, Saul, Banksters, higher ranking revolving door private sector Gov-Industry cohorts, and any number of other mobsters. Instead, we’re told the poor taxpayer was hammered by the evil Government’s seized entity. A tired, worn out technique used by private industry, is to blame anyone other than themselves. Most of the Government appears to be captive and mostly abides by the FIRE sector’s every whim, and when stuff explodes you have hacks spinning some soap-opera and placing blame on imaginary causes.
It’s total crap, I wish certain authors would be foreclosed on in 2013, but expect to read more insipid diversionary gossip. Scoop that!
