There should really be a link here to information on City Life/Vida Urbana in Boston, MA and Direct Action for Rights & Equality in Providence, RI. Both have successfully been organizing tenants in foreclosure for years, and have gotten serious media coverage of the impact of evictions/displacement on tenants after foreclosure – as well as the immense power that exists when tenants and former homeowners come together to resist.
