"Debt" in this context is being used an excuse to hammer the middle class and the entire country into some form of Austerity.
Social security was stolen from.
Foreign countries own a small amount of our debt.
The entire faux debate is so that Banksters and Wall Street can continue to steal everything that isn't bolted down. They weren't done after they took your houses.
Bad article. Even worse, it attempts to couple the fact that Banksters were never prosecuted with some imaginary debt problems. This country needs to run a deficit or we're going to starve. How many people are still out of work? Christ! It isn't like a family with a credit card.
I don't know why this misleading crap keeps getting posted.

Lets stop being stupid! Our government owns most of the land in the USA so the tax payers own it. Africa is trading resources for roads and hospitals with China. Instead of trading our debt with China we run up a huge monetary bill which creates 2 new problems instead of fixing the problem. We prefer a debt that has to be repaid and billions in interest. Duh! Why are we not trading resources to pay off out debt? Everybody can then pay less taxes and solves two problems. Let China set up and pay for the equipment under supervision. We can measure resources removed to make sure we are receiving fair market value. After the debt is paid off the equipment is paid off in oil. Now we can replace taxes with oil. Pay to fix our infrastructure with OUR oil that we own and are sitting on. The government is sitting on the easy solution! The American people want to use their resources that we own to pay off our debt. We look so stupid! Lets take the best actions from Qatar and Africa! Also Brazil protecting its industry with balanced trade by making adjustments at the port. Qatar uses the natural resources owned by the government to eliminate taxes. Hello!!!!!!!! We are lacking real true trained negotiators in Washington that are preventing progress. Just look at Congress. The best description I read is that Congress look like the Flintstones throwing stones at each other. What kind of extensive training does Congress go through after being elected that makes them qualified to make decisions for an entire country?
