The difference was that when President Ford said that in reference to Nixon, Mr. Nixon was already NOT president any more, so he could not continue doing what he was doing. Those circumstances don’t apply here when it comes to the banks…they are still banks, so it’s just like giving permission. ugh!

Ford gave in which he pardoned former President Richard M. Nixon for Watergate crimes.

We’ve been suffering under the repeated usage of that damaging doctrine ever since as similar language is used continually to give the guilty elite a “get out of jail free” card.
