Does anyone doubt, after reading the post, that we are living in a Plutocracy and that Washington, our state legislatures, and the Courts have almost given complete control to Corporate power and wealth. In a "free" country we are far from in charge of our destiny or choice of representatives and are losing individual access and freecoms. What is disturbing is that we are being "sold" on the fact that giving away our freedom is in our best interest and safety when nothing is further from truth. It is Machivellian tactics if you can convince a person that giving up his freedoms and rights are his OWN idea. The loss of unions, bargaining rights, benefits, court access, voting freedoms are all part of the design to remove collective power of the public. As individuals we have little or no influence. Controlling cyberspace through surveillance is the greatest coup of all. Now 'suspect' polls report over 50% of U.S. citizens are "okay" with this invasion of privacy. I believe these polls are skewed but if true it is because the public has been influenced through 'fear' tactics and are duped into believing they are at risk or that these violations of privacy are somehow a protective measure!
We are ignorant if we buy into those lies!
