Maybe those multi-parcel REO investor funds that are gobbling up 10-15-20 houses at a time for pennies on the dollar will opt out and there might be something left for the small individual investor or home owner. The people that made money on those cut rate foreclosures flipped them over to management companies who remodel and seminar sell them as package deals to wanna be real estate investors world-wide. Sort of like time share selling. The paper game looks good but the reality is that people don't get that promised hyped cash flow. Hundreds of rental vacancies are sitting here in Memphis. They can't find quality renters so they rent to high risk renters who can't buy. Trouble is they can't afford to pay rent either and often tear up that newly remodeled investment rental. Someone sitting in Australia is wondering why he can;'t get a 100% occupancy and has to redecorate and pay high dollar management fees on his "gold mine" investment property. Everything that looks good on paper does not translate to reality.
