For those of us who watched entire neighborhoods go underwater, the most important thing is to prevent this from happening again. I plan to read the book while keeping a close eye on the presidential campaign. Today the presumed GOP nominee “slipped” and said he thought Dodd-Frank regulations should be removed. This is not good news.

I have a very similar reaction re the home in Salem that HSBC/OCWEN/AHMSI stole from and the $300k equity I had just been approved for reverse mortage (AAG) they made me a pauper now 77 dosabled vet. Having lived through it and lost my home, the book is too painful for me to read even though 8 years have passed.
I’ll read it though even though it won’t bring my home back.
Much of the problem is that the judiciary refused to acknowledge the chain of title argument

I really enjed the book excerpt. Apparently my email did not merit any type of reply. Thats ok, I’m pretty old and disabled naw and I know you can’t reply to every one. That siad I did enjor you excerpt and one day if I can afford I will use my old Amazon Prime acct to make purchase. Thanks fpr producing an informative site. Being an Qcwen vistim and continue to be beat up by their “ombudsman” dept for over 2 yrs after CFPD nailed Ocwen for fraud) and their financial partners )HSBC) a drug money launderer. I have learned to live with the fact I;ll never see a red cent in whats left of my life. Keep up your good work as you know millions of us have suffered under the anvil hammer of these two corrupt outfits.
