Well, I don’t think Ms. Waters will be in her position very much longer once the Republican President is in office. Secondly, I would love to see the paper trail of that $12 billion dollars to 25 million Americans….because to my knowledge the CFPB hasn’t ret’d one single dime of any of the monies they have recovered from the bankstas! If she is referring to the National Mortgage Fraud Settlement that was done by the AG’s not the CFPB. And that was what, about $1000 to each homeowner? This woman is just another example of the “i’m fixed for life in politics and I don’t give a damn about citizens’. The Dodd-Frank Act is a DISASTER, period. The only ones that profited are the gov’t officials who are sucking the life out of American citizens. The CFPB has no accountability nor responsibility to the gov’t or to the American people and as far as tracing the Financial Crisis disaster, it can go right back to the elimination of the Glass-Stegall Act signed off by none other than President Clinton. I am sorry to say that the Gramm Leach Bliley Act was initiated by Republican Senators but as in the case of all such bills, it passed only after much revamping of the original bill. However, coincidentally, at the same time Citicorp was being formed which had not yet been approved becuae it violated the Glass Steagall Act. I wonder just how many Senators/Congresspersons had a vested interest in that merger. Today, Citicorp is the largest campaign contributor to Hillary Clinton and in the past was the largest for Billy Clinton! Grasp the jesture here folks??!!!
