I could have written this if I were a song writer. All of it so true. We were lied to and lost everything because of six months of underemployment. We called and called and called and sent $10,000 to HomEq who had told us to stop making payments in order to ‘qualify’ for a modification. They took our $10,000 and sent us a letter telling us we were approved for a mod – except the mod payment was more than what the original payment was! Then they closed up shop and our loan was ‘sold’ about 4 or 5 times. We struggled on for five years wiping out our entire 401k trying to claw that house and property back. We were in our late 50’s when we signed those papers that would eventually take everything we had. I will be working until I am 80 if I live that long.

Sadly our land records are now being assaulted byan ability through MERS of predatory capitalism to electronically stamp and swear away the equity in our hard-won homes,
This will prove to be our Great Country’s downfall, as our equity can be bought into by
the KKK or ISIS pension plans. Anyone can buy a piece of our property, even through erroneous and/or fraudulent mortgage liens.

We of the first generation of refugees from Europe are experiencing perhaps what the Native Americans did. Predatory Capitalism cannot exist with Democracy. America is doomed when the banking oligarchy is given all favor v. the painstakingly truthful homeowner

It is over, the great and good capitalist America.

If our judiciary and government do not return to good old fashioned responsible capitalism, we sadly then make way for the United Banks of America, an Oligarchy.
