Personal financial woes on file for Cook County recorder
The Cook County politician in charge of keeping records of federal income tax liens and mortgage foreclosure notifications now finds himself slapped with both.
Recorder of Deeds Eugene “Gene” Moore faces a lien for nearly $78,000 in unpaid income taxes. And a bank is seeking to foreclose on his Maywood home because he has fallen behind on mortgage payments.
According to a lawsuit filed in Cook County Circuit Court, Moore took out a $620,000 mortgage in November 2007 on his two-story red brick Prairie-style home, which sits behind a wrought iron fence on a wooded, oversize lot amid the historic residences of north Maywood.
Moore paid the mortgage through May 2010, but still owed $603,586 in principal when the Hudson City Savings Bank sued in October, according to court records. Moore said he took out the mortgage on his home while trying to stabilize his finances, but it didn’t work.

Okay, you have to read the article very, very carefully to understand how his “money” troubles even started. Did not anyone notice that the contracts he got, which were way overboard on cost, were from his “political” connections? He was screwing those people royally. Then we he had a “falling out” with one of his buds, he started losing the contracts. I understand his plight with the rental properties and devalue which puts him in the same club as the rest of us, but really, at $107K a year he had no business getting such a mortgage. My guess is that he succombed to the “Liar” loans that were so popular in that time frame. He certainly cannot claim ignorance since he is a county recorder! However, on the lighter side, he can be very useful on getting back by joining forces with the other recorders! Let’s hope he does see the only light visable to him (and us).

Tell the U.S Government we DO NOT want them to raise the debt ceiling. That debt is unsustainable.

RIGHT AGAIN…This debt is a false created debt….this money has no back up…plain and simple ‘ AIR ‘…..this has been pulled on other countries as a false front to gain control of oil and other valuable ‘ goods ‘….causing countries to go into debt so deep that debts cannot be paid back….the pattern is to gain control of that country and leave the people with nothing….this ROME EMPIRE will fail….history repeats itself.

He has more defense “weapons” available to him than us. How much do you want to bet, that he has “found the light”, and will soon join the ranks of Jeff Thigpen and John O’Brien?
I do see a ray of hope now that we have Recorder Moore, Lisa Madigan and Sheriff Dart, on board. These people know, there is no fixing fraud. I have been to the recorders office several times and I got the feeling they were on my side. One Clerk told me he wanted me to let him know how my whole mess turns out because he is for the underdog. On one occassion, I was told my house is paid for I can live in it, sell it. or do whatever I want with it because the “lender” failed to secure the lien and it has been over 19 years and the statute of limitations is 12 years in Ill. They have an attorney on the premises who gave me my old pin when I couldnt get to my deed. The deed is not recorded under the new pin. . I never knew I had a new pin and that is where they hid the ORIGINATION FRAUD. They really helped me down there though I had to ask all of the questions, they don’t offer, you have to know what you want when you go there. I will be forever grateful to them. They were so happy for me when I finally got to my deed and that is when they told me my house is paid for. Thank God there still are some honest people left in this country!!
