Will Attorney General Pam Bondi stand with Florida homeowners or big banks? As part of the 50 state attorney general investigation into foreclosure fraud, some attorneys general want to give a slap on the wrist to the banks, and as part of a foreclosure settlement, protect them from criminal prosecution. Some attorneys general, led by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, are standing up and saying no to any deal that would give banks a get out of jail free card.1 Pam Bondi has yet to weigh in.
In July we told you about Attorney General Bondi’s firing of two leading foreclosure fraud attorneys, and thanks to your help, an investigation was launched into why these firings occurred. We’re continuing to monitor this situation to ensure the investigation is truly independent. In the meantime, foreclosures and foreclosure fraud continue to ravage Florida’s communities and our economy. Far too many Florida families have been victims of foreclosure fraud – when banks use false or nonexistent documents in a cruel effort to force people out of their homes. Banks often have either lost or destroyed documents required to foreclose on a homeowner. Due to investigations from all 50 state attorneys general, the heat is on, and banks are looking for an easy way out.
As attorney general of a state ravaged by foreclosures more than most, Pam Bondi needs to take a stand on whether or not a multi-state foreclosure settlement involves a free pass for the banks. We deserve to know.
Part of turning Florida’s economy around begins with ending the foreclosure crisis and restoring stability to our communities. We won’t be able to turn our economy around if our elected officials continue to stand between big banks and the justice Floridians deserve.

“WILL PAM BONDI GIVE BIG BANKS A PASS?” YESSS !!!
cant someone take this chick on a weekend trip to Aruba
Yes Bondi is owned by the banks….don’t forget the measley “settlement” with Marshall Watson Law Firm & David Stern. Watson’s Firm is pulling the same old tricks on me and thousands of others in my county.
Rick Scott-Pam Bondi-Rep. Passisimo should all be out of a job-NOW
Bondi has covered up the thefts of homes as an assistant State Attorney. Her campaign received lots of funding from banksters and their attorneys, and she fired the two assistant Attorney Generals who dared to try to hold the banksters accountable.
So, I expect that she will continue to do all that she can to help the banksters get away with their crimes even though that is a crime. She may even join the Florida Bar and the Dept. of Injustice in trying to silence and shut down foreclosure defense attorneys and activists.
She can do just about anything that the banksters ask her to do since they own just about everyone in positions of power in the government and almost no one knows how to prosecute a prosecutor even though it is possible. A grand jury in Texas turned on a prosecutor just a couple of years ago and indicted him, and the indictment was upheld by the Texas Supreme Court. Naturally, this was not considered news by the banksters’ news networks.
Cat got your tongue…..Pammy?
short answer is YES
Oh she will give the banks anything they want. She has said or done nothing so far to indicate she would defend the people. This woman needs to be removed from her office next election. Bondi needs to be changed to Gondi. As in adios, good by. The only way she can redeem herself is to come out for the people in a way the people benefit and not a government agency who will take the money and spend it on Scott’s programs.
Pammi and redemption?…….LOL
