Some lowlifes they ALL are at HUD, but I would like to get my hands on the ACTUAL LOWLIFES who physically threw away her meds and put this 101- year-old woman and her belongings out on the street. I don’t care who you work for, or how much they paid you, “just following orders” is the poorest excuse ever offered to try to justify this type of sub-human behavior. Doy ou not have a conscience? What type of sociopath does it take to carry out something like this?
I hope that the outrage&disgust increase…I hope that this Elder gets to go back to her OWN Home if she so desires,as to relocate her to”assisted housing” UNLESS she herself asks for such is not”help” but intervention;then HUD keeps the Property…
this whole scenario sickens me… it breaks my heart…I am so beyond fury/indignation…

This is insane , I read above she was back in her home . Threw away her med’s ? that could have killed her at that age , they should be brought up on attempted murder charges . On Foreclosure Hearings and Appropriate Attire
Today began earlier than usual, because I had to get dressed.
I consulted my Emily Post Book of Etiquette, and Emily was conspicuously silent on the issue. I would have to decide on my own what constituted proper attire for a foreclosure hearing.
The judge’s name indicated that she was female. So completely slutty was out. Nevertheless, there could have been a last-minute judicial substitution—or, the judge could have been a lesbian. So I decided on a little slutty, just to hedge.
I ultimately went with the shortest skirt that I own, but it was tweed, and I wore black tights. My top was low-cut, so I wore a camisole to conceal my cleavage. I chose the black lacy camisole—again just a hedge. I wore a conservative Ann Taylor black blazer, my grandmother’s antique cameo pin for sentimentality’s sake, and a lovely vintage Cardin choker, that verged on gaudy.
My hair is at that in-between length. My bangs don’t work as bangs or even wisps—so I had to go for the Big Jackie O. sunglasses-as-hair-accoutrement look. Besides, if I needed to look like I was crying, I could flip them down for effect.
The shoes, of course, would be the most important statement. The tweed skirt and black tights screamed for flats. But the occasion screamed for drama. Boots. Yes. But not the go-go boots or pointy-toed witchy boots. I went for the heavy, rounded boots with chunky heels. They felt sort of bad-ass. They didn’t really go with the outfit. But the statement was worth it. They would clunk and echo throughout the marble-floored courthouse. Every clunky step would state my anger; my resolve.
My low-cut top, black lacy camisole and short skirt said, “Hey, there could be something in this for you.” While the conservative blazer and cameo brooch served to remind everyone that I was just an ordinary housewife, with traditional values. But pulled all together I would present as someone who was disarming, yet, at the same time, alarming. Conservative, but slutty, angry but composed. I was a box of chocolates. No one would know what they were about to get. It was just the look I was going for. And it was authentically me.
I emerged from our boudoir dressed and ready to go only 15 past the time that my husband said we absolutely had to be driving away. He was pleasantly surprised–never had I been so compliant with his schedule. No neighborhood children playing in the cul de sac would be run over today—I had provided him with sufficient cushion to look in the rear view mirror as we backed out of our driveway.
My husband’s choice in attire was clever, as well. He had gone with the uptight, stressed out suburban husband with a wife who was on the verge of a nervous breakdown “look.” It was a good look for him. It was his only look—but a good one. He did not comment on my attire, so I prompted/ensnared him with the strategic “How do I look?” question.
I thought just the fact that I was wearing a bra, makeup, and not even a hint of pajamas would be enough to elicit a, “You look great!” But, instead, he went for the “Are you going to wear those boots?”
“No,” I replied, “I am going to change into my bunny slippers once we get to the courthouse.” I thought my Beloved would pick up on the sarcasm, but instead, he took me at my word, and seemed relieved.
We made it downtown and into the courthouse with time to spare. My husband put his arm around me as we sat outside of courtroom 5B. I whispered to him, “Not here. I’ll explain later.”
The bailiff peeked her head out of the door and called our case. We got up and followed her into the empty courtroom. Soon, the foreclosure mill attorney appeared and sat on the other end of the court room. My husband got up, walked over to shake her hand, and introduced us. Just then, the bailiff announced that the judge would be meeting with us in a conference room, and she asked that we follow her. We collected our things, trudged across the courtroom, and the bailiff graciously held open the door. When I walked past her she remarked, “Great boots!”
We walked into the conference room and the judge greeted us. She was extremely nice. The meeting went well.

I just called Donovan’s office to file my complaint,and was told Mrs. Hollis is being allowed to return to home this evening. When are these politicians going to admit they allowed insanity to happen. It’s time to rid Washington of the BASTARDS.

Apparently HUD has received some bad publicity because a Detroit news station is reporting that HUD has decided to give Mrs. Hollis the house back.
