we all know that they will start using this to identify Occupy Together protesters…
FBI to launch nationwide facial recognition service
The FBI by mid-January will activate a nationwide facial recognition service in select states that will allow local police to identify unknown subjects in photos, bureau officials told Nextgov.
The federal government is embarking on a multiyear, $1 billion dollar overhaul of the FBI’s existing fingerprint database to more quickly and accurately identify suspects, partly through applying other biometric markers, such as iris scans and voice recordings.
Often law enforcement authorities will “have a photo of a person and for whatever reason they just don’t know who it is [but they know] this is clearly the missing link to our case,” said Nick Megna, a unit chief at the FBI’s criminal justice information services division. The new facial recognition service can help provide that missing link by retrieving a list of mug shots ranked in order of similarity to the features of the subject in the photo.

This is the write up on our OccupyPalmBeach meeting today. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/occupy-wall-street-movement-stages-first-rally-in-1902879.html?sort=desc#commentsList
Very fair reporting.
lisa,
when i saw those photos of you w/ your white clip board at the organizing meeting,
i knew that our voices would be heard.
i can’t thank you and michael enough for being on the front lines and sharing all of your information about fighting fraudclosure with us.
my brotehr0in-law said he listened to NPR radio interviews w/ occupy wall street protesters.
he said that many of them were young but very well spoken. this is a movement that has been years in the making.
they were concerned about addressing the abuses in the financial industry but then 9/11 hit.
their agenda got shoved aside. they spoke of many personal freedoms that have been overrun by
false claims of “national security” like the Patriot Act that infringes on our freedom.
Fury…National Security is a big concern……Homeland Security was given that name making the people think there was protection….when in fact the protection was not for the people or for our country. It was protection for the terrorists right here in this country. In fact…when the Bill to protect the pharmaceutical from liability in the vaccines issue…..another scam….the Bill was put on the sly into the HomeLand Security….secretly trying to hide it. False claims were and are their plan….the Patriot Act is a excellant example….they need to cram this where the sun don’t shine. …’ Patriot : fatherland..one who loves and zealously supports one’s own country.’…false lying bastards…..For many years we have not had any protection…..
I do not want to be identified with those who support or engage in “Occupy Wall Street.” Theirs is a socialist/communist oriented “protest.”
My protest is against the multi-trillion dollars scam involving TBTF banks who are part of an effort to bring down the western world’s economy and replace it with one of their own design.
In the process, they are part of a larger, greed-fueled scandal intent upon obtaining “free houses” they can rent to those who “make money” in their new economy. It is these banksters and their co-conspirators who will decide to whom they rent housing at “government-mandated prices.” They will also “make gifts” or “investments” of confiscated properties to those who willingly become a part of their “enterprise.”
What is happening before our eyes is an effort to re-establish the kind of “planned economy” foisted upon the peoples of eastern Europe after WWII and during the Cold War. The soviet “model” for this “new economy” is the one that kept East Germans under the thumbs of their “leaders” for more than four generations.
People were told what apartments they would live in and how many people could reside therein. There were no free markets in East Germany. Soviet-style communes produced the limited amounts of food needed for the subsistence of the “citizen/prisoners.” Long lines formed to obtain desired goods. Worse abuses of “consumer goods” developed.
Work colleagues and neighbors joined with family members and church members to spy on and report to the Soviet-trained (KGB) Stasi (East German Secret Police) who maintained dossiers on all “dissidents.”
[Yes, there were “churches” in East Germany, but members of the Stasi were always present (as un-believing members), so the activities of such “churches” were framed in political rather than spiritual/scriptural form.]
It wasn’t until 1989 that members of a prayer circle at the St. Nikolai Lutheran Church in Leipzig, Saxony, (started in 1984 with less than 40 individuals,) grew to more than a 1,000 who left the church one evening carrying only lighted candles and marched across town to the regional headquarters of the Stasi, did life in East Germany begin to change.
Most were arrested by the Stasi, but because the march was peaceful (one can’t carry a weapon when using both hands to shield the flame of a candle) they were quickly released. When they returned to St. Nikolai, those who had been imprisoned discovered a massive crowd of 11,000 Leipzigers waiting for them. This larger crowd immediately repeated the march carrying their own candles.
The Leipzigers overwhelmed the Stasi headquarters and took total control of the premises. The last actions of the rapidly retreating Stasi officials were to attempt to burn and otherwise destroy as many documents and dossiers as they could. The East Germans’ response? They confiscated the hundreds of thousands of files maintained by their “handlers” for generations… secured, and began indexing those dossiers for the sole purpose of revealing the actions and lies of 40-plus years in their nation.
Germans today, who were the subjects of the Stasi’s institutionalized spying on millions of citizens can now request and receive their own, un-redacted copy of the dossier containing the information about their lives. (Information that determined where they could work, live, or whether or not they could pursue higher education.)
They can find out whom amongst their “friends, families, co-workers, and church or association members spied on them and reported their “subversive activities.” .
Shortly after (The Revolution of the Candles,” the Berlin Wall Fell, then the more draconian “Iron Curtain” separating the Western World from the USSR. Almost simultaneously, within a year, Germany was re-united after decades, and the citizens of the “Socialist” nations of the USSR obtained their freedoms.
Those who are protesting as OWS are not of the same caliber of the citizens of Leipzig and the cities where their nation-wide protest began… but maybe some more “patriotic” Americans who understand the difference between the Crony Capitalism exposed in Atlas Shrugged and the true capitalism supported by the Rand’s understanding of “right and wrong” can learn from a “teach-in” about the failings and shortcomings of Socialism, Communism, and the”Hybrid-Capitalism” of Communist China.
They might be able to find a way to prevent and protect against the destruction of records containing the truth relative to the crookster-bankers who are appropriating homes that do not belong to them. They might even discover and secure promissory notes, mortgages or (Deeds of Trust,) allonges, “trust agreements,” and actual “chains of title for millions of properties.
Most importantly, they may find documentation proving the “crony capitalism – communist./socialist conspiracy” by linking specific “purchased politicians,” “captured regulators,” corrupt appraisers and “cooperating officials of banks,” as well as incriminating information concerning the securitiies dealers and financiers of the Ponzi Scheme that is collapsing the worlds western economies.
I hope the focus of this and similar blogs will not dissipate its efforts by aligning with the near-do-wells with OWS who, like the banksters actually want a “free house.”
well dan, i can say that the Occupy Wall Street protest and other Occupy Together protests are NOT about socialism or communism.
maybe a few protesters align themselves with that, but so what?
the majority of the protesters are made up of people like me and those whose stories have been told on this website.
whether you admit it or not, the USA is a socialist state.
what do you call TARP and TALF money?
it was money doled out by the government (w/ taxpayer funds) but it was given to the wrong people; people who
committed the biggest swindle in our country’s history. it was not given to the victims of their fraud
who deserved to be paid back what they had stolen by the banks and wall street in their ponzi scheme.
i have seen the disastrous effects of communism that robbed and destroyed my family and friends in europe. decades later we are still feeling the loss.
so don’t group me in your over- generalization about Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together with the protests that are taking place all cross america.
i am proud of the protesters.
we are finally showing the crooks that they will not get away w/ their crimes.
if you want to make a comparison to communism— compare the activities of the banks, servicers and thug f/c mills and their swindler REO agents.
it is like when China and Russia stole private property
and then their populations starved.
that is the reality in america.
you are not seeing on your evening network news.
Fury,
Do not think for a moment I do not agree that the USA is now socialist!
I also agree with you about the banks and their co-conspirators in congress and on Wall street.
What is corrupt about this whole Fraudclosure scam is that it’s pervasive even in state governments and in all political parties.
I don’t embrace the mid-eastern idea that “whoever is the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” There is a better Arabian proverb that describes this situation: “If you lie down with dogs, you get up with fleas.” I make it a practice to be aware of my surroundings and I always choose men and women of indisputed quality and honor as those with whom I associate.
(For your information, I count among my closest friends, former prostitutes and gang-bangers, former bank-robbers and drug dealers, former armed robbers and major-league atheletes.
Why? They are closer to be than a brother because they have all opened their eyes and ears and listened to words that have changed their lives.)
The communists and socialists have a history of “confiscating the property of the wealthy.” They were formed out of anarchy and revolution in the earlyt nineten hundreds. The “evolution” of their philsoophy and the politics deriving from that worldview has been proved a failure… Yet their decades-long plans are still perking. We see that clearly today with the OWS folks.
Real Americans believe in the sancticty of the laws that govern out nation. Your sentiments are very similar to mine but your passions are not. I don’t seek the “power” of numbers. I seek only truth and justice…. according to well-extablished law (laws that have been totally ignored by banksters and their “purchased regualtors” who we pay to be watchdogs… not Foxes in Henhouses.
The scoundrels in Washington, on Wall Street (and Chicago,) and in our statehouses are no different than those who beiieve the “world owes them a living.”
John Galt rejected the denizons of each of these dens of iniquity. Too bad he was a fictional character… and doubly as bad is the fact that his “creator” was an atheist.
There is another proverb I embrace: “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.”
“No justice, no peace!” Forget that way… its the way of the mob. Justice flowers where sin is buried.
I stand by my statement concerning this website… It’s purpose until now has been a righteous one. If the focus on fraudclosure is separated from the pursuit of lawful and just consequences, its influence for good will be decimated.
As to the “evening news,” I don’t watch it. I focus on what matters… finding ways to right grievous wrongs and pointing those “with eyes and ears” to the only person who can do that… Jesus!
I don’t condemn you, Fury, I just watch and listen… and (as best I can,) prepare for what America will become if mobs rule and the few who claim to be thinkers ignore the lessons of history.
DanJS
dan.
i don’t think your views are that different than mine.
except that i don’t view the protesters as a mob.
i try to practice what gandhi said, “be the change you want to see in the world.”
i am a lone wolf but i have hope for the world.
social change begins with ONE person—me. you.
dan,
what i seek is justice.
what is most disconcerting to me is that these fraudsters continue to lie— to homeowners and the courts and they are still getting away with it.
that is not right!
You might want to consider the applications and tools being used
to surveil these types of crowds, and how each and every person
there can be identified at great distances.
http://www.gigapixel.com/image/gigapan-canucks-g7.html
readdocs,
you are right about being concerned about face recognition being used on the occupy wall street crowds.
julian assange speaks of how facebook violates privacy and is one of the biggest spying tools that the US uses to keep tabs on dissenters. FB willingly forks over data.
they also have that diabolical feature of face recognition so that anyone can find any of your photos posted anywhere on FB.
i hate to get swept up in conspiracy theories but believe me, i have seen such corruption and fraud
that i would have never thought possible.
i’m like the clint eastwood character in High Plains Drifter—the Man with No Name who rides into the town called Hell.
i trust no one, especially not our government, and that is sad.
i wish the protesters well in florida.
this movement is spreading.
the People will not be ignored!
FURY ITS NOT IGNORED THIS WEEK, it was front page tampa tribune yesterday. this is about stealing homes from the people. the people that have lost their down payment. sad the young kids that are protesting because they do not have jobs do not understand why they do not have jobs. so they are out there because those of us who work can not. yet i do not hear the foreclosure crisis being exposed by these protesters. forclosures are going to continue unless they expose the fraud. the young kids do not even understand what wall street did to us it is to funny. the do not know about CDS, AAA ratings on poor loans, appraisal fraud, application fraud, pretender lenders who did not loan this money to us. its so sad. how do we get this out to these kids tell them why this protest started it is great they are participating but they should know the reason!!!!
Fury seems to get it , I wouldn’t go to these myself , yet the word is getting out and the MSM will have to follow it and only so much can be edited out . This is about US catching corporate thieves red handed and the exposing the money trail – read and keep your mouth shut , you have two ears and one mouth , there is a reason for that – Thanks Fury – you hit this one outta the park
malco and lies,
i wish that more protesting signs were focused on fraudclosure.
i feel like that is the root of the whole problem that pulled the world down.
but i can’t criticize these protesters. they are down there taking a stand.
i think about how hard it was to enter my competitive career field when i graduated form college.
these college grads now have no chance at landing a job and they are saddled w/ staggering debt.
we are all debt slaves. we didn’t cause this!
my family has begged me not to go down to the protest. they are terrified that i will be
arrested and wouldn’t be able to make bail.
we all have seen how the cops set up the brooklyn bridge protesters to be arrested.
the cops told the protesters where to stand and then arrested them because of where they were standing.
i have have important family responsibilities but i am considering all options.
i have neighbors who have gone down who are not at all like the people the news
tries to portray as being flakes and on the fringe.
they are middle aged professionals w/ children in college.
if you listen to the tapes of LBJ talking about war protesters, he laments that
“they keep coming and coming.”
the 99% will keep coming and coming. if you think this is a frivolous movement.
you are dead wrong!
lies,
i am still shocked (or maybe i shouldn’t be) by the behavior of kimberly guilfoyle
and her fellow hyenas as shown on the Amonymous youtube video. it was some show that i have
never even heard of —- Take Five or something like that.
but for Kimberly to mock the protesters saying that it was some sort of Burning Man event, just made my skin crawl.
number 1— this protest is about being defrauded and wrecked financially by the banksters and wall street
number 2- artists can’t even afford to attend Burning Man. the tickets this year were snatched up by the rich.
number 3— what happened to Kimberly? s
he looks really rough.
lost respect for her when she resorted to cracking jokes publicly about giving BJs to her (ex) Gavin Newsom ( a wimp who has let down SF).
there she is with 2 others dorks laughing like hyenas.
so…
this is not a laughing matter. people’s lives are on the line.
all of our stories are sad and tragic.
that is why we are fighting so hard.
when i read our fellow posters; accounts of their suffering, it makes me want to wretch,
especially our poster who lost their jobs and home to the BP oil spill disaster.
talk about a sucker punch…
all of us deserve justice!
all of us.
You’re welcome Rob.
And here’s one more to contemplate over the weekend.
http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=195618
Know the website…..thanks for the headsup on The Libertarians!
….the tea party self-destrcted! Was it poor leadership, infiltrated toxic ideas….what?
Too funny.
Elyse, you are exactly right ! I learned so much from this and other forums similar in nature that I no longer fear my bank ( B of A) ,in fact it empowered me to go on the offensive against them and I am happy to say I feel they are in the corner . They cannot answer most of my questions , because of what I have learned here . The banks need to understand that we know the fraud they orchestrated and we were the “victims” well some were , not me . I refuse to give up this fight and have joined many various state Attorney General suits against them while the truth comes out . Every “younger generation ” ( did I just say that , OMG I am old now !! ) feels the need to carry there signs and march on this or that ( I grew up in the 80’s and I don’t recall doing this , but it was the 80’s ;0) ) but if it brings national attention to these matters , get billy clubbed and carry those signs . Power to the People baby -Peace
okay i have been gine the freekin runaround from wells fargo since r0v when something so horrible as having your house stolen happens you know your not alone. This movement is about stealing homes from people making children go to scool from their parents car what kind of hope is that future. Come on everyone how many more house need to be stolen? Millions of peopel int us didnt buy houses we couldnt afford we trusted the the banks were doing the right thing we didnt know about the sinister plot that appraisal fraud, application fraud, house flipping, and straw buying was fueling a feeding frenzy on us. We do not want to lose our homes please fight this no more homeless children please i plead with all of you
If you’re at all interested in who is planning and manipulating a portion of the
american public, you need to go here.
http://www.adbusters.org/about/adbusters
Right out of socialist Canada.
And those of you who are publishing places cannot refute this. So whose’
country are you interested in? America or maybe someplace like Russia,
or even better North Korea.
I have no idea what this comment is about? Perhaps you need to understand this movement is about Foreclosure Fraud…The Banks are stealing our home’s….it is not political!!
I hate feeding trolls Mr. Readdocs but you need to get wise. There is a big difference between capitalism and crony capitalism. It doen’t make any difference how this #OccupyX got started. You are full of crap cowboy.
chunga,
At least you read it. And I’m no troll, just because what I posted doesn’t
tickle your eyes and ears.
Here is some more.
http://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message1666560/pg1
And btw this is the first time you’ve ever responded to ANYTHING I’ve
posted here in the past several months. I’m only interested in facts,
not emotions or rhetoric. So. What’s YOUR agenda? You follow any
group if you like what you see, or do you ever check fact their ass first?
Thanks for sharing that websiew R.D.
Readdocs, I have heard stuff like this…read rumors from New Yorkers on blogsites that the Government is behind the protests to take the attention off of themselves….I tried to post an honest comment about the Politicians and the Fed on Occupy Chicago.org and they removed it right away…There is alot of deception out there for sure…People are smart though and I already see the tide is turning towards blaming the Fed….. It won’t be long and we will be seeing signs calling for throwing all of the politicians out of office, and then we will see the truth….Wall Street is evil and should be in prison but, they are the scapegoats…Wall Street is like the Lee Harvey Oswald of this whole thing….Evil, but not thee evil….
we have socialism here in the USA—it’s just that the banks are getting all of the taxpayer money in the form of bailouts.
“This is not a recession, it is a robbery”…..Amy Goodman, journalist,author…..
I will try to post this awesome you tube video..it is a great protest rally motivator….
The Mood Of The American Electorate:
