How does the government generate its own money, other than just printing up a batch that they can throw everywhere as foreign aid or for various military operations? Congress is fully supported by taxpayers, as is the Judicial and Administrative branches, which include benefits, healthcare, expenses, pensions, etc.. Of course, those in Government, enjoying the spoils of their office, might consider deriving or taxing those whose interests they truly represent. Now who should pick up the tab?
Would that be Corporate America?
“The Government should create, issue, and circulate all the currency and credits needed to satisfy the spending power of the Government and the buying power of consumers. By the adoption of these principles, the taxpayers will be saved immense sums of interest. Money will cease to be master and become the servant of humanity.” -Abraham Lincoln
I no longer believe taxation is necessary or appropriate for the financing of a modern society.

I think we are falling short of what should be the ultimate goal, the end of taxation.

Maybe I’ll wake up tomorrow and decide that I no longer believe in gravity.
….reality is relative to perception!
Rob – not sure what that means but I am REALLY sure that the girls would love to see the Law of Gravity repealed.
Caitlin…….Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!
