Wow, this stuff makes my head spin. Glad I’m not in Florida. Oh wait, I’m in a State where the shenanigans might be even worse.
Mike; Do you know someone that is up on the Cease and desist consent order To MERS dated April 13? Ron
Is it customary for the FL AG office to share evidence that could be used in a criminal trial at some point with the perp’s counsel while the investigation is still on-going? See Julian to LPS 1.
I’d love to see preso LPS made to the AG’s office, self-serving, rationalizing, filled with justifications and excuses as it must have been. It does look like it left the FL AG with just a few questions, though. Like FORTY of them!
When Emery congratulates Former Deputy AG Joe on his hiring by LPS, which in any honest country would be a prohibited move due to the corruption of conflict of interest, he says Joe has been “a great friend and brother in Christ.” Was that UNintended irony?
I would dismiss the letter from LPS counsel Meyer to Thersa Edwards and June Clarkson as just more whining from a company with a huge sense of entitlement except that it only preceded their firing by what? A month or so? Meyer even foreshadows their firing when she asks “whether you are still capable of conducting this investigation” Apparently, Pam Bondi’s office agreed with LPS’s counsel and decided that Edwards and Clarkson were NOT capable. Hamilton to LPS
DANG! No e-mail from Victoria Butler, FL AG Bureau Chief, telling LPS counsel, Joan Meyer, to go to hell with her request that Butler “encourage” the Michigan AG to conduct a civil, rather than criminal, investigation of LPS. And I was so looking forward to that.
