In reply to indio007. Does anyone have any more information on this devious LPS Field Service company? I closed escrow 2 days ago and have a legal deed of short sale closed and title to my home. A lady from this company came by and harassed my painters, took pictures, and said that the home was bank owned!!!! Its not bank owned. It was a short sale and I OWN IT NOW, with the state, with the county, with title. She even went as far as to change the locks, put a combo lock on the door with the house keys inside, put a poster in the window, and one of these difficult to remove from glass stickers. Someone please help me? I feel I've been harassed, trespassed upon, my employees had their photographs taken as they tried to call me to come with my paperwork and she disappeared without a business card, name, bank, anything. Just threats...

OK, this has gone on long enough. At what point does an officer of the law not expect to see a legal document vs. a business card? For cryin’ out loud – on the repo shows – when the law is called, the repo person produces actual paperwork to take a car, boat, etc. SO WHAT’S UP WITH HO– USES? A business card works? I wonder how many buglars are now out there producing business cards to show the police when they’re caught in the act? Why not? Clearly it works?

I get so angry when I read these stories. I know other people do as well. I guess what it will take, sadly, is when one of these “cleaners” – legit or not – gets shot by a frightened homeowner or neighbor. Yep, maybe then they’ll think twice about venturing into our neighborhoods without the proper documents to show their actions are fully legal.

This has to stop and the inept police officers (not all – there are a ton of excellent officers out there) – should close the fricking donut box long enough to do their jobs and protect citizens / families. Hmmm, maybe in this town in Maine – when its voting time and the po-po wants to increase a millage – it will get voted down out of support for these homeowners and others like them.

There is nothing sad about this criminal act. The owners sbould be mad as hell and gunning for every one involved in this crime, including the police department. No one who owns or is buying a home is not safe from such invasion and the permament loss of property. It is just.a matter of time before someone is going to be shot and killed breaking and entering someones’ home due to illegal directions of some financial entity.
All involved should be held responsible legally.

I wonder how many fake mortgages are in some of the securitized MBS’s. They don’t have the paperwork either way is the sad fact.
