i grew up in the Bay Area. i am really proud of oakalnd’s occupy movement.
the port of oakland is one of the busiest ports in the country.
they show strength and solidarity in shutting it down just like Solidarity in Gdansk, Poland helped topple communism in eastern europe and the Fall of the Berlin Wall.
i just watched the man interviewed about his children and their mother being the family to take posession of a vacate home. via “Occupyourhomes.”
it just crystallized for me that this is full out war oon the Bad Guys.
