I am not sure that I agree with all of Mr. Hayes conclusions. The mother of his child was under Section 8 and obviously he is not married to her but at the same time they were living as a family together. If I am not mistaken (and correct me if I am wrong) but doesn’t Section 8 prohibit the habitation of the father/husband within the same household if there is a recipient of Section 8 housing or financial assistance? I know it is in Florida but not sure if the same applies in NY. And Section 8 having cuts??? My impression or view of what the Occupy Our Homes was to place those people who had lost their homes via fraudclosure back into the home again so as to contain homelessness; not to place other families in those homes..
