I keep hearing talk of interest rates will have to be raised as soon as they finish with their little fake “sweep it all under the rug and it will all go away” plan. I also read the banksters are wanting second loans to be forgiven so that they hold lst lien place. Why might this be one might ask? All those on the fringe that are barely staying current and that have adjustable rate mortgages; will be the next wave. The greed mongers have figured the timing out and the approximate numbers that again will be defaulting and they want to make sure they will be in the first lien position to pounce and take. I am also puzzled by this so called agreement about principal reductions when today Fannie released a statement saying under no circumstances will there be any principal write downs of loans?? And it is interesting that the timing of this Fannie statement was a few hours after the public announcement of the settlement. Hmm. My last question is why are states negotiating settlements with criminals on behalf of their constituents who have no desire to negotiate with unconvicted criminals?
the settlement sucks and homeowners won’t see much money, if at all.
it will be another disaster like HAMP. maybe that is what any “settlement” with the crooks who ripped us would have been.

I’ve been mad as hell for so long it’s just…. another day. But I’m trying to see the end of all this because, unless I’m totally wrong (and I’ve rexearched this out pretty well) when the post dated (to the closing date of the Trusts) Assignment is granted authenticity in the Courts, the the REMIC shields of the Trusts are automatically shattered and the penalty for that is the Trusts are changed from a non-taxed Trust to a trust that’s taxed at 100% by the IRS. At that time, I can only imagine that the Trust’s either become insolvent OR they’ll be taken over by the IRS (US Govt.).
NOw that could work out to the benefit of the Lenders… ie., they get to dispose of all those Trusts they’ve ALREADY mad their money off of and, since they’re still in the business of swervicing Trusts, they could retain the same monies for servicing. But with new enforcement rules because they’d be contracted to doing business with the US Govt.
Still trying to figure out just what that would mean for the homeowner (or rather ex homeowner). Payments now go to US Govt.(?) representative or trustee servicer…. liability for past crimes would go…. where?

We did not settle with them…we still have falsified documents and they still have to prove their case..we need to be alert and ready to act…so keep those old files and falsified docs cause they still have not been able to correct them nor has the dust settled so don’t panic…keep the faith, and qualify your attorney…there are still some honest and fighting ones out there…what they make happen for you they will make happen for them and their own families.
We need to pick a date and show up in masses! The OCCUPY movement has brought “things” to the public, however, it’s time for the foreclosure mess to be under the spotlight! I agree. That paltry $2,000 while the banks get their free get out of jail card is insulting. This was my first thought this morning that this so called settlement is insults all the homeowners who lost their homes to bankster greed. How many sleepless nights and anguish is that $2,000.00 going to cover. What is that two months rent? Please. Any banker who commits fraud goes to jail. I could not help noticing that the first two banners pages of the florida unemployment pages are notices about committing fraud yet where are these notices for banksters. Signing a fake name is fraud. Please.
This is a unbelievable tragedy, but, let’s face it. The press, most of it, hides what is going on to most people in this country. Otherwise people would not stand for it any longer. I haven’t paid my Mortgage in 3 years just for these reasons and No one has foreclosed on my yet. YET.
We’re going into 2 years….threats of foreclosure – then cancelled. That was nearly a year ago. They’ve tried to get us to do a modification. They know doing so will cancel the “bad” mortgage file and hide their fraud. But, I think they know that I know of the amound of fraud in the original mortgage (not my signature, income/asset verification that was a total fabrication, etc.). It will be interesting to see when/if they make their next move. We will fight.
