Mother-daughter suicide raises questions
STAMFORD — No one heard the gunshots.
Long Ridge Road is a main thoroughfare that connects North Stamford and Pound Ridge to the Merritt Parkway and downtown businesses. Thousands of cars speed by on a weekly basis, passing 1214 Long Ridge Road, a four bedroom Cape-style home half a mile north of the Merritt Parkway. Inside the house, a long descent had begun after Connecticut Light & Power shut off electricity to the home last year and an already dire financial situation devolved into despair, according to accounts from a friend and neighbor.
Two weeks ago, police discovered the bodies of Florence, 85, and Susan Beran, 57, on Friday, May 11 in the home. Investigators concluded that Susan Beran, a longtime caregiver for her elderly mother, killed Florence with her late father’s shotgun and then used the weapon to take her own life some time later. Neighbors hadn’t reported any gunfire that week. Police suspect the murder-suicide occurred sometime in the 48 hours before police discovered the gruesome scene, less than a month after the house was auctioned off as part of a tax foreclosure.

Wow, this has done be in and may they RIP and we know it is TIME to STOP Banks from causing any more harm to the USA. But for the Grace of God go I.
If it was reasonably foreseeable, based on the particular facts–then is it not similar to the kid taking videos of his homosexuel roommate and publishing them—causing his suicide? It would seem a good way for a local prosecutor to propel himself to a seat in Congress in short order.
This needs to end soon .Nobody needs to give up thier life for the sake of a house. This lady seemed to not have support that she needed both for home and her mother. My prayers are with them.Had they gotten the help they needed this could’ve been avoided.
